Only One, a global not-for-profit organization that serves as the advocacy platform for the ocean, is proudly riding the wave of sustainability. Through strategic collaboration with Stand For Trees, Only One has solidified its commitment in supporting the conservation sector in creating meaningful change for marine and land life, the climate, and the communities most affected by threats to the planet. In essence, they’re keeping our forests green and oceans blue!

This partnership originated in 2022 when Only One approached Stand For Trees to source carbon offset projects for funding. With a primary goal of aiding ocean conservation, they prioritized projects with water benefits. Consequently, all projects selected since 2022 have centered on coastal rainforests, showcasing the remarkable biodiversity found in these areas, including mangroves and marine life.

By supporting the Guatemala Conservation Coast (Guatemala), Southern Cardamom (Cambodia), and Rimba Raya Orangutan Reserve projects (Indonesia), they have preserved an estimated 343,140 old-growth trees from imminent destruction, effectively offsetting 17,157 tonnes of carbon emissions. Moreover, their involvement has uplifted local communities, providing essential resources such as education, healthcare, and employment opportunities.

This partnership between Only One and Stand For Trees represents a remarkable evolution in the non-profit sector, where organizations already dedicated to social good are now integrating sustainability and carbon offsetting into their operations.
